If you’re looking for a general rewards card, check out the Wells Fargo Propel American Express® Card.
When you open an account and spend $3,000 in the first three months, you’ll receive a signup bonus of 30,000 points, a $300 value. That’s a big bonus compared to the Capital One QuicksilverOne Cash Rewards Credit Card which does not have a signup offer.
You’ll earn 3X points on gas, rideshare trips, flights, hotels, car rentals, and even popular streaming services. On all other purchases, you’ll earn one point per $1 spent. Your points never expire, and there’s no limit to what you can earn.
The Wells Fargo Propel American Express® Card also offers a 0% introductory APR on new purchases and balance transfers for up to 12 months.
2. Chase Freedom Unlimited®
If you use your
Chase Freedom Unlimited® card, you could earn an additional 1.5% cash back on everything you buy (on up to $20,000 spent in the first year) - worth up to $300 cash back! You’ll get 15 months (from account opening) at 0% intro APR on new purchases, giving you over a year to pay off your debt without worrying about interest. After that, a variable APR of 20.49% - 29.24% applies. The balance transfer fee for this card is either $5 or 5% of the amount of each transfer, whichever is greater.
With the Chase Freedom Unlimited® card you enjoy 6.5% cash back on travel purchased through Chase Travel℠, our premier rewards program that lets you redeem rewards for cash back, travel, gift cards and more; 4.5% cash back on drugstore purchases and dining at restaurants, including takeout and eligible delivery service, and 3% on all other purchases (on up to $20,000 spent in the first year). After your first year or $20,000 spent, enjoy 5% cash back on travel purchased through Chase Travel℠, 3% cash back on drugstore purchases and dining at restaurants, including takeout and eligible delivery service, and unlimited 1.5% cash back on all other purchases.

3. HSBC Gold Mastercard® credit card
If you need more time to do a balance transfer, the HSBC Gold Mastercard® credit card offers one of the longest promotional periods at 0% APR for the first 18 months after account opening. That promotional APR applies to both balance transfers and new purchases, giving you plenty of time to finance major expenses.
Once the promotional period is over, the variable APR of 13.24%, 17.24% or 21.24% will apply after the Introductory Period.
Unlike the QuicksilverOne card, there is no annual fee. That means you don’t have to worry about spending a certain amount to offset the annual fee.
The Bottom Line
If you’re looking to add a new rewards credit card to your wallet, evaluating all of your options can be overwhelming. The QuicksilverOne® card is a valuable card that offers strong rewards and benefits. However, if you’re looking to do a balance transfer or want to take advantage of a strong signup bonus, it’s a good idea to check out alternatives.
